Kahuna healing
extensions, known as Kiatsu, are the energy component of a Kahuna's work that are innate
to being human. The human body contains all ranges of these energy
frequencies, with one being predominent. A gaze like a lazer, a
soothing hug, an energizing handshake, all bespeak specific frequences.
When used succinctly, these energies can be used to trigger acupuncture
points, heal trauma and rejunvenate cells.
I studied with a brilliant Kahuna, B.J. Carlisle, in the eighties who welcomed me to join private classes in his home. BJ said he taught healing techniques to us for free to balance out karma for killing people in the Korean War. Yet even in during the war, his power animal, the Mahi, saved his life when his ship was bombed at sea and the crew swam in shark-infested waters. BJ was one of the few survivors. He feels he lived to both freely heal people and share the Kahuna teachings.
Like many
old-style martial arts teacher, in his practice of Aikdo BJ used
amplified energies to throw at opponents and knock them off balance,
as well as to heal members of his Aikido class when they needed muscle
and bone adjustments after sparring.
BJ said it was not possible to write a book on Kiatsu as he taught it. I did not start out to write a book, but was compelled to write down sequentially everything that happened in each class as soon as I got home, no matter how late. After being jarred in a fenderbumper in the late eighties I consolidated those notes into an extension-by-extension handbook and gave it to chiropractors and healers in exchange for treatments.
One healer immersed himself in each energy frequency for anywhere from one month to six months in an honest attempt to master them. Combining these Kiatsu teachings with his other healing modalities, he became more proficient than I had ever been.
Now, given BJ's consent from the etherical realm, I am introducing them to you as I was introduced, through private classes with the Kahuna Master.
