On October 22nd I attended a meeting
regarding lawsuits now being filed by Sikh Dharma International against Unto Infinity. An
update was given on Unto Infinity's travesties--how they have fired board members of the
Siri Singh Sahib Corp, which was supposed to oversee all profit and non profit
businesses as Yogiji used to do, and replaced it with UI members--themselves.
How they removed a much loved representative of Sikh Dharma International, Guru Raj Kaur, from CCC, the group of people who decide how to allocate charitable contributions of Golden Temple and other 3HO for-profit businesses. Guru Raj Kaur was given the excuse that they needed to
reduce six voting members to five so that there can be a majority in any
vote, when they rarely vote--the CCC decision process has been by consensus. We wonder why they did not simply add a seventh voting member! And when the Massachusetts sangat decided to separate their properties
from their yoga and teaching branch, to preserve their holdings in case of a
lawsuit by a yoga student in the future, UI forbid them to act without UI
approval, because it would have taken those holdings out of UI control.
The very next morning, on first
reading the Hukam from the Golden Temple, it shocked me. Guru speaks of an invading army commander who "...demands land as his wedding gift," and how "modesty and righteousness
both have vanished and falsehood struts around like a leader."
We get this Hukam at times of world-shaking tragedies, such as the bombing of
hotels and a Jewish compound in southern India last year by Moslim
fanatics.I wondered, Why now? and whether a major
shift was about to occur.
"The Qazis and
the Brahmins have lost their roles, and Satan now conducts the marriage rites,
O Lalo."
Losing their roles? And some evil force is orchestrating it? It sounded just
like our discussion the night before about the UI board's very same tactics. How
they fired devoted Sikhs from our organization's administrative boards and
replaced them with their own operatives.
"The Muslim
women read the Koran, and in their misery, they call upon God, O Lalo.The Hindu women of high social status, and others of lowly status
as well, are put into the same category, O Lalo."
One of the women from the UI board was dropped or resigned
when she did not go along with their mentality. And the longtime loyal wife of
the leader of the UI pack was deserted for a fellow member of the UI board. UI has
inflicted pain on many sides.
Courts are the battleground of modern times. Those who want to help win the UI battle can send contributions to the Sikh Dharma Legal Defense Fund.
What are we fighting for? Primarily we simply want the UI board members to find work elsewhere. We want monies they have squandered illegally to be returned. We are also filing a lawsuit against the Siri Singh Sahib Corporation, which UI has wholly taken over, to return the wise overview of 3HO and Sikh offices and functions to Siri Singh Sahib's representatives.
Guru Nanak's words accommodated our dismal view of the UI's tactics in the day's

masolaa. Nanak sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord and Master
in the city of corpses, and voices this account.

ikaylaa. The One who created, and attached the mortals to
pleasures, sits alone, and watches this.

masolaa. The Lord and Master is True, and True is His justice.
He issues His Commands according to His judgement.

samaalsee bolaa. The body-fabric will be torn apart into shreds, and
then India will remember these words.

marad kaa chaylaa. Coming in seventy-eight (1521 A.D.), they will depart
in ninety-seven (1540 A.D.), and then another disciple of man will rise up.
