God gives me sustenance, surely, through a Spring Snow garden that has grown pumpkin leaves bigger than dinner plates and corn taller than me, yet it is a hot one today. I noticed that the garden's leaves are wilting, and so are the tall wild daisies growing along the farmyard fence. I am watering the garden and letting the daisies be. Dasies will brighten up with the next rain.
It reminded of my finances. Whether the Gurus treat me like a wild flower and waits or, like a garden, floods my accounts (they know how hardy I am), the result will be an overall rich, beautiful harvest.
I just now removed the mouth of a four-foot long bullsnake from one of the duck's fertile eggs and put the good fellow in the hen's nest where eggs are infertile and smaller--easier to swallow. And a rejected month-old duckling was removed from two brutalizing father drakes into a pen with the geese family, which has become courteous and accepting--a miracle. The father goose has now bonded with his son and hisses at me and steps on the mother goose and gosling to shield them from any human approach. The other stately goose is a loving, respectful uncle, kind in every way. Our battered duckling is wary but welcome to co-exist with them in peace.
We all fit in somewhere, in drought or in flood, from rejection into love, as God's Hand blesses us, Unseen.
Hukam From the Golden Temple of Amritsar:
Dhanaasaree, Fifth Guru, Eighth House, Du-Padas:
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
Remembering, remembering, remembering Him in meditation, I find peace; with each and every breath, I dwell upon Him.
In this world, and in the world beyond, He is with me, as my help and support; wherever I go, He protects me. ||1||
The Guru's Word abides with my soul. It does not sink in water; thieves cannot steal it, and fire cannot burn it. ||1||Pause||
It is like wealth to the poor, a cane for the blind, and mother's milk for the infant.
In the ocean of the world, I have found the boat of the Lord; the Merciful Lord has bestowed His Mercy upon Nanak. ||2||1||32||
