Blessing Oneself as Earth

Following Morning Blessings,
Feeling love and bliss
I rolled onto my side
And nestled into Guru’s embrace.
Only he surprised me, imploring,
Bless your self again!
By blessing your body,
You will bless the earth.
In so doing
My body was one with Mother Earth
Blessing my mountains and valleys
Wetlands and bogs
Deserts, forests and meadows.
Blessings extended to rivers and streams,
My blood,
And the ocean of my heart.
Blessing my breath
Wind and Life Breath of all beings
Were blessed.
Blessing the sustaining fire of my belly and emotions,
Blessings extended to Earth's core,
Through sunrays of my eyes to the sun,
Blessing all stars.
Blessing the etheric reach of my soul,
Hordes of angels shining with God's love
Mirrored blessings to my motherly
Earthly expanse,
Magnifying love.
